آنجلا دیویس عزیز
نامه همبستگی شما به همراه ۱۹ نفر از چهره ها و فعالین سرشناس چپ و رادیکال به زندانیان سیاسی ایران اقدام جهانی مهمی در جهت توقف اعدامها، آزادی زندانیان سیاسی و در حمایت از مبارزات مردم ایران برای رهائی از یکی از جنایتکارترین رژیمهای معاصر دنیا است. آزادیخواهان ایران از این اقدام شما صمیمانه قدردانی میکنند و آنرا ارج مینهند.
نامه شما همصدا با زندانیان اوین که بدنبال بمباران این زندان اعلام کرده بودند میان دو تیغه قیچی گرفتار شدهاند، “سلطه جمهوری اسلامی” و “نیروهای امپریالیستیای که جمهوری اسلامی مدعی مقابله با آنهاست” را، دو تیغه این قیچی مینامد.
این دو نیرو عملا همدیگر را توجیه میکنند و به یکدیگر یاری میرسانند.
از یکسو جمهوری اسلامی ۴۸ سال است که از شعار و ادعای مبارزه با “شیطان بزرگ” و “رژیم اشغالگر قدس” اهرمی برای سرکوب اعتراضات بر حق مردم و حفظ سلطه جهنمیاش بر جامعه ایران ساخته است.
از سوی دیگر افراطی ترین نیروهای راسیستی که در اسرائیل و آمریکا بقدرت رسیدهاند سیاستهای ضد انسانی همیشگی خود علیه مردم فلسطین را تحت عنوان “مبارزه با تروریسم” توجیه میکنند و به پیش میبرند. فاشیسم اسلامی و فاشیسم امپریالیستی دو روی یک سکهاند. “ضد امپریالیسم” اسلامیستی خود یکی از عوامل زمینهساز سیاستهای راسیستی در کمپ مقابل بوده است و در واقع در خدمت آن عمل میکند.
نامه همبستگی شما هر دو این نیروهای ارتجاعی را محکوم کرده است و این حرکتی رادیکال و متفاوت از مواضع چپ سنتی در غرب و در ایران است که با حرکت از یک جهتگیری ضدآمریکائی- ضداسرائیلی کلیشهای و مکتبی عملا در کنار جمهوری اسلامی و نیروهای ارتجاعی متحد آن قرار گرفته است. این چپ سنتی در “ضدیت توخالی” با امپریالیسم با جمهوری اسلامی شریک است. نامه شما علیه جمهوری اسلامی و در همبستگی با زندانیان سیاسی ایران این چارچوب سنتی را در هم شکسته است و از این نظر گام مهمی به پیش محسوب میشود.
سیاستهای داخلی ارتجاعی و راسیستی ترامپ و نتانیاهو نیز مورد نقد شما قرار گرفته است. نیروهای چپ و پیشرو در آمریکا و اروپا جنبش گستردهای علیه ترامپ و ترامپیسم سازمان دادهاند که شایسته بیشترین حمایتها است. در این مبارزه در راه “رؤیاهای مشترک مان برای آزادی و کرامت انسانی” حزب کمونیست کارگری ایران و همه نیروهای مبارز راه آزادی را همراه و همگام خود بدانید. ما جنبش جهانی علیه ترامپیسم و راسیسم نتانیاهو را جنبشی برای آزادی و کرامت انسانی و همسو با مبارزه مردم ایران علیه جمهوری اسلامی میدانیم و قاطعانه از آن پشتیبانی میکنیم.
شما با رد کردن “دوگانهسازی دروغین میان امپریالیسم و ضدیت توخالی با امپریالیسم” نیروهای واقعی ضد امپریالیست را فراخواندهاید تا حمایت و همبستگی بیقیدوشرط خود را با همه زندانیان سیاسی ایران اعلام کنند، جمهوری اسلامی را تحت فشار قرار دهند و “از آن بخواهند فوراً همه اعدامها را متوقف و تمامی زندانیان سیاسی را آزاد کند.”
این همبستگی جهانی خواست و هدف مهمی است که مدتهاست نیروهای چپ و آزادیخواه و فعالین جنبش گسترده علیه اعدام در ایران و در جهان برای تحقق آن تلاش میکنند. ما در این فراخوان با شما همراه و همصدا هستیم.
امیدوارم این فراخوان ارزنده شما به عرصههای دیگر مبارزه، از جمله و بویژه بایکوت جهانی حکومت جمهوری اسلامی و محاکمه جهانی سران جنایتکار این رژیم بخاطر کشتار مستمر مردم ایران از اعدامهای دهه شصت تا کشتار دیماه ۱۴۰۴ و اعدامهای هر روزه بعد از آن، گسترش یابد.

Open Letter to Angela Davis

Dear Angela Davis
Your solidarity letter, alongside with 19 prominent left-wing and radical figures and activists, to Iranian political prisoners is an important global action towards halting executions, releasing political prisoners, and supporting the struggles of the Iranian people to liberate themselves from one of the most criminal regimes in the contemporary world. Freedom-seeking people in Iran sincerely appreciate and value this action of yours.
Your letter echoes the words of the prisoners at Evin Prison who, following the bombing of the prison, declared that they had been caught between two blades of a pair of scissors. Your letter identifies these two blades as “the domination of the Islamic Republic” and “the imperialist forces that the Islamic Republic claims to be fighting.”
These forces, in practice, justify and reinforce one another.
On the one hand, for 48 years the Islamic Republic has used its slogans and claims of fighting the “Great Satan” and the “Zionist occupying regime” as a lever to suppress the legitimate protests of the Iranian people and maintain its hellish domination over Iranian society.
On the other hand, the most extreme racist forces that have risen to power in Israel and the United States justify and pursue their longstanding inhumane policies against the Palestinian people under the pretext of “fighting Islamic terrorism.”
Islamist ‘anti-imperialism’ has itself been a conducive factor for paving the way for racist policies in the opposing camp and, in reality, serves them.
Your letter of solidarity condemns both reactionary forces. This is a radical position, distinct from that of the traditional left in the West and in Iran, which, starting from a stereotypical and doctrinaire anti-American and anti-Israeli orientation, has practically placed itself alongside the Islamic Republic and its allied reactionary forces. This traditional left shares with the Islamic Republic a “hollow opposition” to imperialism. Your letter, by standing against the Islamic Republic and in solidarity with Iran’s political prisoners, has broken through this traditional framework and, in this respect, represents an important step forward.
The reactionary and racist domestic policies of Trump and Netanyahu have also been criticized in your letter. Left and progressive forces in the United States and Europe have organized a broad movement against Trump and Trumpism that deserves the strongest possible support. In this struggle for “our collective dreams of freedom and human dignity,” consider the Worker-communist Party of Iran and all the freedom-seeking forces alongside you and marching with you. We regard the global movement against Trumpism and Netanyahu’s racism as a movement for human freedom and dignity, and as aligned with the Iranian people’s struggle against the Islamic Republic. We firmly support it.
By rejecting the “false binary of imperialism and hollow anti-imperialism,” you have called upon genuine anti-imperialist forces to declare their unconditional support and solidarity with all political prisoners in Iran, to put pressure on the Islamic Republic, and to “demand that it immediately stop all the executions and release all political prisoners.”
This global solidarity is an important demand and objective that left-wing and freedom-loving forces, as well as activists in the broad movement against executions in Iran and around the world, have been working for a long time to achieve. We stand with you and join our voices with yours in this call.
I hope this valuable call of yours will extend to other arenas of struggle, including especially the global boycott of the Islamic Republic regime and the international prosecution of its criminal leaders for the continuous massacre of the Iranian people—from the mass executions of the 1980s to the January 2026 massacre and the daily executions that have followed.
